Kilkerran Heavily Peated

With the 'Peat In Progress' series, the Campbeltown distillery Kilkerran is heading in a new direction. Batch 4 matured in 80% Bourbon and 20% ex-Sherry casks. Limited bottling.

Heavy peat smoke dominates Kilkerran Batch #4. A complex whisky that tastes well beyond its years; expect malty undertones of crushed biscuits, licorice as it opens up, and then a nice, long honey note. Over the peat you get the slightest hint of oak.
