Clase Azul Master Artisans Collection – Limited Edition
This Clase Azul Master Artisans Limited Edition marks the debut of a truly exceptional series, combining the unparalleled craftsmanship of Master Distiller Viridiana Tinoco and the visionary artistry of Ángel Santos, one of the most renowned Mexican artisans of our time.
The handcrafted decanter is a striking work of art, inspired by the grace and beauty of long-plumed pheasants. These majestic birds, revered across various cultures, symbolize light, prosperity, the sun, and wealth. The vibrant blue color in the design represents the sky, air, and water, evoking a sense of harmony and connection with nature.
The decanter also features five and six-petalled flowers, intricate symbols often seen in traditional artisanal clay techniques from Tonalá, a town in Jalisco known as the "cradle of ceramics" in Mexico. These details reflect the deep cultural roots of Mexican craftsmanship, blending history and art in every aspect of the piece.
Viridiana Tinoco has created the longest-aged blend in Clase Azul’s history for this extraordinary release. The 8-year-old extra añejo tequila began its maturation in American whiskey casks, where it aged for 64 months. It was then transferred for 41 more months into three different types of sherry casks: amontillado, oloroso, and pedro ximénez. This unique aging process gives the tequila an unmatched complexity, offering a rich and multifaceted flavor profile that is both refined and unforgettable.
This limited edition is the perfect fusion of artisanal mastery and expert distillation, creating a collector’s item that embodies the very essence of Mexican craftsmanship and heritage.
