  1. Rinse your chilled rocks glass with absinthe (discard excess and set aside the glass)
  2. In a mixer, muddle the sugar cube with water and the Peychaud’s and Angostura bitters.
  3. Add the rye
  4. Add the cognac
  5. Fill the mixer with ice and stir well until fully chilled
  6. Strain into the prepared glass form earlier
  7. Twit the lemon peel over the drink to seize out the peel’s oils
  8. Garnish drink with the peel
