Gimlets, basically a sour gin, are one of the most refreshing classic cocktails in existence. The gimlet is thought to have originated back in the early 18th century. In the 1980s and 1990s, we saw a giant surge in vodka gimlet, but since then, the gin gimlet has reigned. Although we all love it for what it already is (gin, lime juice, and simple syrup), like any gimlet fan, we’re always willing to try new flavors! In today’s gimlet recipe, we will showcase an even more refreshing version: Cucumber Gimlet Martini!
