A Bloody Mary is one of the most well-known spicy vodka cocktails. It's believed the original recipe only contains seven ingredients, but you can add as many toppings as you would like, turning your drink into a full nutritional breakfast! As you may have witnesses, bars and restaurants will add bacon, shrimp, cheese, artichokes, jalapeno poppers, and even a slice of pizza as a garnish! The liquor-soaked breakfast works as a hangover cure that will jumpstart a groggy morning.
Ingredients You'll Need
- 2 oz. vodka
- 4 oz. tomato juice
- 2 teaspoons horseradish
- 2 dashes of Tabasco sauce
- 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- Celery salt
- Lemon wedge
- Parsley sprig
- Green olives
- Lime wedge
- Celery stalk
Directions
- Pour celery salt onto a plate
- Rub lime or lemon juice along the rim of the pint glass
- Roll the glass's rim in celery salt until fully coated
- Fill glass with ice
- Squeeze lime and lemon wedges into a shaker and then drop the wedges in
- Add vodka, horseradish, tomato juice, Worcestershire, Tabasco, black pepper, ice, and a pinch of celery salt to the shaker, and shake gently
- Strain into glass
- Garnish with celery stalk, speared green olives, parsley sprig, and lime wedge
