Midwest Grain Products (MGP), a distillery in Indiana, produced the fourth Boss Hog release. This 14-year-old straight rye whiskey is bottled at 119.2 proof, which is cask strength. Here's the twist: It's aged out in casks that formerly held Armagnac brandy. The Black Prince is named after England's Prince Edward of Woodstock, an armagnac-loving plunderer who traveled throughout southwest France in the 14th century.
